We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2021, at the age of 91, Dalton Boyd Hancock Sr. of Cadiz, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bascom Hancock and Bessie Campbell Hancock; his son Boyd Hancock; his stepson Fenton Dawson; his stepgrandson Matthew Everett; and his siblings, Sherwood Hancock, Joe Hancock, Efrie Hancock, Tom Hancock, Moody Hancock and Helen McKay.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Lane Hancock of Cadiz; his son Scott Hancock (Sandra) of Hopkinsville; his stepchildren, Layton Dawson of Cadiz, Mont Dawson (Kecia) of Louisville, Joey Everett (Peggy) of Hopkinsville and Pam Oliver (Deano) of Roaring Springs; his stepdaughter-in-law Marsha Dawson of Lexington; his grandchildren, Taylor Wade Hancock (Sally Smith), Ellery Hancock Naghtin (Andy), Stacee Nichols (Barry) and Jay Shelton; his stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Oliver Lambert (Cole), Carly Oliver Deck (Joey), Maddie Dawson, Lexie Dawson, Lanie Dawson, Josh Dawson (Dawn), Dillon Dawson (Mallory) and Chase Dawson; and his brother Billy Ray Hancock. He is also survived by ten step great grandchildren.
