She was predeceased by: her parents, Whitson Kirby and Ilean Kirby (Adams); her stepmother Mary Alice Kirby; her husband Norris G. Mitchell; her sister Kay Creamer; her brother-in-law Robert Earl Fowler; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and Brian Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda "Lanie" Johnson (Corky) of Cadiz, Pam McCallan of Bowling Green, KY and Keith Mitchell (Stacey) of Gallatin, TN; her grandchildren, Patrick Johnson (Carey), Christy Wood, Elizabeth Mitchell Wentworth (Cole), Eric Mitchell and Isaac Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Maddie Johnson, Eva Johnson, Emerson Johnson and Baylor Johnson; her sisters, Thelma Fowler of Cadiz, Joyce Anderson (Joe) of Cadiz and Carolyn Freeman (Randy) of Cadiz; her brother-in-law Tommy Creamer of Indianapolis, IN; her friend Diane Light of Cadiz; and also Jeri Lynn Johnson.
