He was predeceased by: his parents, Almont Dawson, Sr. and Agnes Miller Dawson; his sons, Fenton Dawson and Tony Parrish; and his siblings, Mont Dawson, Jr., Louise Thomas and Mary Agnes Gaylord.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Williams Dawson of Cadiz; his children, Layton Dawson of Cadiz, Mont Dawson (Kecia) of Louisville, Kentucky and Pam Oliver (Deano) of Roaring Spring; his daughter-in-law Marsha Dawson of Lexington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Chelsea Oliver Lambert (Cole), Carly Oliver Deck (Joey), Maddie Dawson, Chase Dawson, Josh Dawson, Dillon Dawson, Lexie Dawson, Lanie Dawson, Cody Parrish, Alec Parrish and Alayna Parrish; his great grandchildren, Kiley Lambert, Dawson Lambert, Charlie Parks, Adrian Parks, Carter Dawson and Brinley Dawson; his sister Betsy Wall of Hopkinsville; and his pet Toby.
