He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Armstrong and Lauretta Mae Hoyt Armstrong; his daughter Sarah Inez Armstrong; and his siblings, Bill Joe Hoyt and Laury Inez Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Alvin Eugene Armstrong, Jr. of Cadiz, KY, Stanley Robert-Lee Armstrong of Cadiz, KY and Amanda Marie Armstrong (Brian) of Princeton, KY; his sister Marietta Joy Carnes of Battle Creek, MI; and his grandchildren, Jayden Armstrong, Kayliana Bender, Kaylynn Armstrong and Chayce Armstrong.
