He is survived by: his children, Encorey Broadnax, Ebony Whitlock, Markeesha Broadnax and Florence "Suga" Griffin; and his siblings, James "Spike" Broadnax (Emma), Charles, Tuck, Mary Smith, Patricia Ann Artis (William), Liaretta Hairston (Bernie) and Mildred Tinsley (James).
