With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stella Mae Whitaker of Butler, Kentucky, born in Bellevue, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl George and Edna Murphy Straub; her husband Harold Whitaker Sr.; and her grandson Noble Gabbard. She is survived by: her children, Harold Whitaker Jr. (Sherry), Wilma West and Edna Lindsey; her siblings, Jimmy, Frankie Straub, Irene East and Margaret McMillian; her grandchildren, Harold Whitaker III and Margaret West; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Donavon, Whitley, Landon Gabbard and Evan Leap; and her great great grandchildren, Madison, Milo Gabbard, Ryder and Jackson Leap.
