She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny L. Heitmeier and Garnet McCarter Heitmeier; her son Jake Remley; her significant other Roy Roland; and her brother Robert Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Straus (Jennifer), David Straus (Tracy), Danielle Straus, Ashley Schweitzer (Timothy), Sara Remley (Glen Thaxton) and Lindsey Sinclair (Erich); and her siblings, John Heitmeier and Diana Heitmeier. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
