He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradley Riley and Betty Mayes Riley; his siblings, Randy Riley, Dicie Turner and Pearl Gordon; and his granddaughters, Kayla Varney and Sheila Riley.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carey Riley; his children, Roger Allen Riley (Marybeth), Brandon Riley, Raymond Riley, Christopher Varney, Craig Varney (Marci), Jeff Varney, Rosemary Riley, Krista Racke (Jeremy), Jennifer Hall (Wayne) and Angie Perkins; and his siblings, Brad, Kenneth, Andy, Ronnie Riley, Ruth Teegarden and Judith Riley. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
