It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Buchanan (Butler, Kentucky), born in Berry, Kentucky, who passed away on February 10, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cephus Powers and Bessie Powers (Winkle); her brother Charles Powers; her daughter Deborah Kay Wittamore; and her grandson Gerald Lee Moore (Jerry).
She is survived by: her husband Danny Buchanan; her children, Viola Magee, Bessie Lucci (Tony), Lorna Combs (Chuck), Melody Weldon (Rick), Charles Moore (Venus), Kenneth Moore (Carolyn), Ronnie Moore (Sandy), Dennis Moore (Tonya), Victor Buchanan and Donald Buchanan (Beverly); and her sister-in-law Barbara Powers. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
