She was predeceased by: her parent Homer Owen; her husband Roy Hancock Dorsey, Sr.; her brothers, Homer Owen III and Howard Owen; and her friend Raymond Jeffries.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Owen (Ducker); her son Roy H. Dorsey, Jr.; her wife Tish of Fort Thomas, KY; her son Owen Earle Dorsey; and her sisters, Myra Owen Crowley and Kathleen Owen Simmons (Harold). She is also survived by six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, eleven nieces/nephews, twenty-two great-nieces/nephews and one great, great niece.
