She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Jr. Owen and Mary Ducker Owen; her son Del Simmons; her siblings, Homer Owen III, Howard Owen and Marilyn Dorsey; and her nephews, Greg Owen and Kyle Crowley.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Simmons; her sister Myra Jane Crowley; and her nieces and nephews, Sheila Pelle, Homer Owen IIII, Kent Owen, Ann Pope, Roy Dorsey Jr., Owen Dorsey, Patrick Crowley, Colleen Ames, Mike, Kelly and Kevin Crowley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Butler Christian Church.
