He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Mattingly and Hilda Harrison Mattingly; his siblings, James, Osborne Jr., Thomas Mattingly and Charlene; his nephew Daniel Mattingly; and his niece Lynn Nagel.

He is survived by: his siblings, Rodney Mattingly (Tammy), Edwin Bray (late Kathy), Debra Bishop (late Wayne), Betty Smith and Linda Ferril (Carroll). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends.
