He is survived by: his parent Mary Edna Barton Bowen; his wife Brenda Joyce Burlew Bowen; his sons, James "Kevin" Bowen, Denise Lickliter (Bob), Dennis "Keith" Bowen (Kimberly), Brian Bowen (Tara) and Jason Bowen; and his siblings, Betty Schlueter (Melvin), Mildred "Gene" Belew, Mary Mason (Glenn), Judith, Pennington and Dewey "Tom" Bowen (Pam). He is also survived by grandchildren and 15- great grandchildren.
