He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Horton Alsip; his children, Debora Holland (Phillip) of Ocala, FL, James Jackson Alsip II (Lisa) of Erlanger, KY, Douglas Wayne (Tina) of Cincinnati, OH, Sharon Chen (Tommy) of Japan, Jacqueline Yracheta (Tony) of Reno, NV, Alan Dale Spencer of Erlanger, KY and Darrell Wayne Spencer of Los Alamitos, CA; his brother Chris Alsip (Bertha) of Walton, KY; his half-brother William Alsip (Helen) of Cookeville, TN; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Alsip of Butler, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
