He is survived by: his wife Valerie Perkins Bolen; his children, Christopher Bolen, Ernest Bolen, Brandi Bolen and Ashlee Bolen; his siblings, Eddie Bolen (Shirley), Roger Bolen (Lois) and Venita Johnson (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Judith Bolen. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
