He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pettit and Dorothy Ashcraft Pettit Brunker. He is survived by: his stepfather Wallace Brunker; his brother Tom Pettit (Tracy); and his stepsiblings, Steven Brunker and Phyllis Brown.

Memorials are suggested to the Concord Methodist Church Cemetery, 1915 Concord Caddo Road, Falmouth KY, 41040.
