He is survived by: his parents, Garnett Steele and Beulah Hitch Steele; his wife Velma Miller Steele; his sons, David Steele (Stephanie), Billy Steele (Tammy) and John Steele (Margi); his grandchildren, Brandon, Molly, Patrick, Jessica, Tyler, Madison and Blake Steele; his great grandchildren, Logan, Gavin and Vivienne Steele; his stepgrandchildren, Clyde, Kara Kay Caldwell and Josie LeCrone; and his nephew Mike Steele. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
