He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shelton and Lola Stacy Shelton; his wife Maurine Bray Shelton; his son Gregory Curtis Shelton; his granddaughter Danielle Gosney-Baker; and his siblings, Thurman, Willard, James Berchen Shelton, Dorothy Lockard, Marie Hehman and Audrey Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Pauly (Ray), Jeff Shelton (Vikki), Beverly Holland (Jim) and John Shelton (Jennette); and his grandchildren, Heather Hicks (Damien), Joseph Shelton, Ben Shelton, Will Shelton, Katey Shelton, Shaylan Nilson, Calina Nilson, Stephan Baker, Curtis Hicks, Molly Hicks and Isla Baker. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews.
