It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Gibson of Burnside, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fayette Haynes and Ruby Haynes; her husband James "Jimmy" Gibson; and her siblings, Lorene Philpot, Pauletta Nicholas, Henry Haynes, Larry Haynes, Marion Haynes and Marvin Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Griffin and James Gibson (Amanda); her grandchildren, Meagan Raymer (Tim), Aaron Padgett, Austin Griffin, Xavier Gibson and Zane Gibson; her great grandchildren, Atticus Raymer and Gaius Raymer; and her siblings, Betty Hill, Carolyn Foster (Bruce) and Bob Haynes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in tribute of Sharon to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
