He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bell and Mildred Bunch Bell; his son Robert Bell; and his brother Jessie Bell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Bell; his children, Billy Bell of Burnside, Eddie Bell (Sandra) of Monticello, James Bell, Jr. (Lisa) of Burnside and Brenda Bell (John Wheat) of Jefferson City, TN; and his grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Darrell "Cooter", Billy Jo, Zack, Bridgette, Michael, James Andrew, Christopher, Debra, Jamie Nicole and Jacob. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
