He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Wagers Sr. and Elizabeth Young Wagers; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Shirel. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Wagers (Melanie) of Albany, Elizabeth Wagers of Somerset and Crystal Wagers; and his sister Evelyn Shirel of Somerset.
