As we bid Don farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Don is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Katie Phillips; his parents, Vernon Phillips and Thelma Warren Phillips; and his siblings, Vernelle Dunkerson and Joe Phillips (Stacy Doom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Legion Post 217 or Shriner's Hospital for children through Shrine at Madisonville, KY.
