He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew D. Garvin and Fayne S. Garvin (Colvin); his wife Mary L. Garvin (Jankowiak); and his sisters, Jean Dubbert, Marian Mowrey and Joan Killan.
He is survived by: his children, Mona Woodruff (William Jr.) and Todd Garvin; and his grandchildren, Cory Woodruff (Amy), Jesiah (Caitlin Smith) and Alexandra "Alex" (Brandon Todd). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
