She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie L Lanter and Sarah B Lanter; her husband Ronald L Eggie; her siblings, Allen L Lanter, Thomas W Lanter, Henrietta LaFollette and Margaret LaFollette; and her daughter Brenda S Jones.
She is survived by: her brother Harold S Lanter; her children, Rhonda M Rogers, Cheryl L Finnicum and Ronald D Eggie; and her grandchildren, Amanda M Phipps, Danielle R Ealy, Brandon L Eggie, David P Jones, Alexander S Jones, Kayla M Moore and David A Eggie. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
