With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen J. Maher of Burlington, Kentucky, born in Independence, Kentucky, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Maher and Stella Maher; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Maher; and his daughters, Debra Breier and Judith Azzopardi.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Willis (John), Charles Maher, Michael Maher (Chris), Stephanie Pegg (Jim) and Colleen Hudspeth (Cleveland). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
