She was predeceased by: her parents, James Estes and Betty Estes Kaffenberger (Kemper); her husband Dan Hauxwell; and the father of her children Charles Hurd, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles Dean Hurd, Holly Tucker (Kelly), Jamie Lee Hurd (Sarah) and Matthew Hurd (Sara); her sister Marla Clifton (Mike); her grandchildren, Justin, Cage, Kelsey and Ava; her nephew Michael Clifton; and her niece Megan Migliozzi (Zach).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Independence (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery (25 Alexandria Pike, Southgate, KY 41071).
