He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Lee Widener Sr. and Tommie Sizemore Widener. He is survived by: his wife Kara Kelly Widener; his children, Kelly Anne Stidham (Steve), Katelyn Lee Justice (Steve) and Caleb Zane Widener; his grandson Isaac Stidham (Mom Wink Widener); and his siblings, Steven Widener, Karen Ridner (Tim), Kimberly Clemons (Richard), Melissa Vaughan (Billy) and Amy Wong (Matt). He is also survived by numerous Nieces & Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
