He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Wulfeck Pelzer; his parents, Edward Pelzer and Verna Pelzer; his siblings, Jack Pelzer and Mary Ann Harter; and his granddaughter Gina Kenkel.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Sandfoss Cauvin Pelzer; his children, Kevin Pelzer (Jacque), Lori Eversole and Mary Stoeckle (David); and his stepdaughters, Sandy Kenkel (Jack), Sharon Cecil, Marian Krogman (Joe) and Jennifer Bamfield (Brandan). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
