He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lawson and Christine Lawson; and his brothers, Donald Lawson, Raymond Lawson, Bobby Lawson and Leonard Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Fugate (Eric), Ronnie Lawson (Suzie), Charlotte Seckman (Greg) and Ricky Lawson (Karen); his siblings, Johnny Lawson, Nannie Lou Wilcox, Shelia Napier, Debbie Overbee and Helen Lawson; and his pet Kiss. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
