He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Ard and Sarah Ard; his daughter Judy Faulkner; and his siblings, Lowell, James Ard, Herb Davenport, Katherine Ard and Norma Ayers.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Ard; his granddaughter Kaylee Faulkner; his son-in-law Phil Faulkner; and his siblings, Paul (Francie), Cecil Ard (Sheila) and Geraldine Tarter (Glen).
