He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Ann Hall Garrett and Rufford Alson Hatton; his grandson Shane Edward Hatton; his great grandchild Zachary Lee Fernandez; and his siblings, Clifford Paul Hatton, Rufford Doyle Hatton, Sonna Gaye Sealy and Rhonda Gayle Kyde.
He is survived by: his wife Ailene Lawson Hatton; his children, Scott Steven Hatton, Robert Alson Hatton (Tammy), Ronald Gene Hatton (Savanna) and Eugenia Ann Fernandez (Tom); and his brother Conley Hatton. He is also survived by grandchildren; one great, great grandchild.
