She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Edward and Edith Casteel (Carmical); her husband William "Dan" Rice, I; her sons, William "Bill" Rice II and Ben Rice; her siblings, Patsy Burkhart, Kenneth Casteel and Timothy Casteel; and her siblings-in-law, Fairlane Casteel, Carmie Casteel and Donald Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughter Carrol Lee Rice Perez (Abelardo Perez); her siblings, Lorraine Lyon (Arlon), Dorris Jean Roberts and George Casteel (Patricia); her grandchildren, Andrew Rice, Victor Rice-Perez (Noelle), Adelaida Rice-Perez, Isabel Rice-Perez and Lucero Rice-Perez; and her great grandchild Analia Rice.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (400 Linden St, Ludlow, KY 41016). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
