He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Bruce; his aunt Linda Marley; his grandparents, Clyde, Bernice Gossett, Clinton and Florence Duling; and his cousin Gary.

He is survived by: his mother Della Mae Gossett; his brother Michael Gossett; and his nieces and nephews, Shane Henderson, Chad Henderson, Amy Stitt and Carrie Bair. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and four great-nephews and many beloved cousins.
