It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rondal Barton Thrasher of Burkesville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his fathers, Barton Thrasher and Vela Thrasher (Pointdexter); and his siblings, Stanley, James Thrasher, Dorothy Schickles, Imogene York and Brenda Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marie Thrasher (Loy); his children, Ron Thrasher, Jr. and Cynthia Smith; his brother Kenneth Thrasher; his grandchildren, David Thrasher (Stephanie), Matt Thrasher (Anna), Chris Myers (Kelli), Katie Smith and Nick Smith; and his great grandchildren, Gabe Thrasher, Sylus Thrasher, Harper Myers and Nova Myers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
