He was predeceased by: his father Walter Franklin Dyer; his grandparents, Cecil, Mattie Bell Spears, Jeff and Macie Dyer; his stepdaughter Hadley Hardin; and his uncle Shelby Spears.
He is survived by: his mother Wilma Spears Dyer Watson of Burkesville, KY; his wife Amanda Moore Spears of Burkesville, KY; his children, Brandy Held (Dan) of Columbia, KY, Jennifer Nicki Spears of Marrowbone, KY., Ethan Spears of Burkesville, KY, Luke Spears of Louisville, KY, Logan Spears of Louisville, KY and Dakota Moore (Katelyn); his brother Ricky Dyer (Darline) of Burkesville, KY.; his parents-in-law, Ray and Barbara Moore of Marrowbone, KY.; his grandchildren, Bohdi Held, Paige Held, Triston Capshaw, Amber McInteer, Annzley Shaw and Heavenleigh Moore; his great grandchildren, Rylee Held, Easton Young and Hudson Kai Burns; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Spears, Richard Dyer, Ellie Moore and Emma Moore.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Burkesville, KY 42717). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
