He is survived by: his parent Rana Calhoun Barnett; his wife Justine of Burgin; his sons, Robin L. Barnett of Toledo, OH and James Potter (Sandra) of Toledo, OH; his stepson Anthony Osborne (Kay) of Lancaster, KY; his grandchildren, Christopher R. Barnett, Christol R. Barnett, James Potter Jr (Tammy) and Lisa Kohn (Kenneth); his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Burgett of Grove City, OH, Holly Argo, Chanse Murphy and Brittany Murphy; his sisters, Bessie Dingus (Herbert) of Floyd Co, Donna Turner of Floyd Co, Carla Blackburn (Jerry) of Floyd Co and Juanita Rice (Oscar) of Floyd Co; and his siblings-in-law, Agatha Hall of Columbus, OH and Thomas Osborne of Lancer, KY.. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
