He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smith and Lola Smith; his brother Smith, Jr.; and his wife Debbie Guthrie Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Smith (Jerri Ann) of Harrodsburg and Chris Smith (Britney) of Burgin; his grandchildren, Skylar, Shawn and Howard Smith; and his sisters, Sue Dobbs of Stanford and Sheila Baxter (Gary) of Rogersville, TN.
