He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Napier Sr. and Eudell Combs Napier; and his sister Nancy Justice. He is survived by: his wife Clara Napier; his children, Christa Sumner (Gary), Samuel Scott Napier (Lauren) and Jason Grant Napier; his sister Eudell Vanover (Joe); his aunt Geraldine Russell; his friend Eddie Emery; his grandchildren, Makenzie Joseph (Daniel) and Madison Sumner; and his pet Molly.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dwarf Church of God.
