He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Whitehead and Gracie Campbell Whitehead; his former wife Carolyn Whitehead; his siblings, Catherine Leavers, Juanita Rice and Bobby Whitehead; and his grandson Hunter Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mullins; his children, Charles Estill Whitehead (Marilyn) of Booneville, KY, Joshua Garland Whitehead (April) and Rebecca Lynn Feltner (William) of Booneville, KY; his siblings, Hazel Hayslip, Roxie Stewart, Raymond, Carl, James, Walter Jr. and Billy Ray Whitehead; and his grandchildren, Levi, Chloe, Dalton and Carson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family & friends.
