He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Wagers and Bertha Hensley Wagers; his wife Nancy Carol Wagers; his son Danny Sams; and his siblings, Willie Wagers, Clay Wagers, Betty Arms, Barbara Arms and Vicky Doepker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Cox (Ronnie) of Lotts Creek, KY and Alpha Jean Crawford (Ovie) of Avawam, KY; and his sister Charlene Arms of Somerset, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family & friends.
