He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Spurlock and Octa Young; and his siblings, Vernon Bud Spurlock, Betty Miller and Jan Coleman.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Lavonne Spurlock; his daughter Sevan Campbell (T. J.); his siblings, Wanda Combs and Johnny Martin; his grandchildren, Arielle, Trinty, Cash, Bentley and Daxx; and his caregivers, Zach Isaac and Kathy Thacker.
