He is survived by: his wife Lynda Locke Barnes; his children, Angela Underwood (Ronnie) of Upton, Kimberly Gehr (George) of Magnolia, Chasity Parks (Ricky) of Sonora, Renee Joiner (Jason) of Elizabethtown, Leslie Dietrich (John) of Elizabethtown and Gary Barnes (Susan) of Upton; and his sisters, Pauline Bottoms of Elizabethtown and Doris Davis of Florida. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
