He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Goldsmith; and his daughter Cassie Dye. He is survived by: his children, Dianne Willis (Gene) of Hodgenville, Freda Goldsmith of Hodgenville, Marvin Goldsmith of Hodgenville and Rodney Goldsmith of Edmonton; his son-in-law James Dye of Hodgenville; and his brothers, Kenneth Goldsmith of Louisville and Danny Goldsmith of Louisville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
