She is survived by: her husband Bobby Bowles; her daughters, Sandra A. Hamilton and Laura R. Hamilton; her stepdaughters, Virginia Snell Brown (Bob), Beverly A. Bowles, Betsy K. Maddox (William) and Bonny G. Downing; her brother James R. King (Nanette); her niece Ellen Perkins (Mike); her daughter Sydney; and her nephew Richard Lee King.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Hilda's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
