She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hancock and Jessie Hancock (Unser); her husband Webster G. Austin; her siblings, Lawrence Hancock and Henrietta Mosely; and her son-in-law Ronnie Lindsey.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Lindsey of Hopkinsville, KY and Samuel Austin (Melinda) of Saint Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Ashley Minton (Chuck), Casey Williams, Emily Igleheart (Eric) and Patrick Austin (Miranda); and her great grandchildren, Jayden Williams, Adam Igleheart, Thomas Igleheart, Carter Buckner, Leah Mae Igleheart and Hunter Grace Austin.

Memorials may be made to Kentucky United Methodist Children's Homes, 1115 Ashgrove Rd., Nicholasville, KY 40356.
