He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rayburn Slaughter and Julia Ann Luttrell; his stepfather Kelly Travis Luttrell; his father-in-law Max Keith Hunt; and his grandparents, Claudus Robert Woosley, Glida Elizabeth Woosley, William Russell Slaughter and Lucy Booker Elmore.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Maxine Slaughter; his children, Whitney Elizabeth Lewis (James) of Bowling Green and William Riley Slaughter (Chloe) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, James River and Wrenn Elizabeth Lewis; his siblings, Gina Renee Slaughter of Big Reedy and Ruston Shawn Slaughter (Sandy) of Louisville; his stepmother Janice Coghill Slaughter of Bowling Green; his stepsister Terry Cosby (Steve) of Bowling Green; and his mother-in-law Earline Kirby (Mark) of Huntsville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
