He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willie and Mary Campbell Cassady; his spouse Chloie Emogene Key Cassady; his daughter Donita Lashley; and his siblings, Benny Cassady, Maggie Cowles, Ella Mae Madison and Mary Sturdivant.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Cassady (Kayla) of Bowling Green and Karen Cline (Johnie) of Brownsville; his grandchildren, Nicholas Lashley of Bowling Green and Emily Gibson (Roy) of Bee Spring; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Rance, Ethan and Emma Gibson; his sister Eva Huffman of Brownsville; and his close friend Martha Resch of Bowling Green.
