It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale VanMeter of Brownsville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Greeley and Hallie Rhea Meredith VanMeter; and his siblings, Bobby, Jimmy, Bill, Roy VanMeter and Betty Vincent.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Ashton VanMeter of Brownsville; his children, Jaime VanMeteren and Jessica VanMeter (Adam Stephens) of Alvaton; his grandchildren, Chandler Miller of Alvaton, Greyson VanMeter of Alvaton and Trevor Stephens of Alvaton; his siblings, Brenda VanMeter of Brownsville, Barbara VanMeter Hogan (Mike) of Mammoth Cave and Hank VanMeter (Tresea) of Mammoth Cave; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Berreth VanMeter of Puyallup, WA, Cynthia Ashton Vincent (Bruce) of Mammoth Cave, Neil Vincent of Brownsville and Wesley Gross of Brownsville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
