She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Reid Spikes and Nancy Elizabeth Laney Spikes; her spouse Johnie R. Basham; and her daughters, Sherry Lynn Tarwater and Tina Renee Shurett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linday Kaye Basham of Brownsville and Dana Michelle Williams (Steve) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Anthony Tarwater, Amie Tarwater, Steven Basham, John Shurett, Braedyn Preston, Tina-Marie Tarwater and Kaylee DeWitt; and her sons-in-law, Jamie Shurett and David Tarwater. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
