He was predeceased by: his father Noah Everett Reed, Sr.; his daughter Sonya Lynette Reed; and his siblings, Barbara Lou McDougal, Earl Reed, Clyde Reed, Wilma Mimms, Nelda Reed and Iris Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Reed; his children, Michael Reed (Julie) of Brownsville and Tonya White (Jimmy) of Brownsville; his grandchildren, Krys Murley (Ryan), Hannah Dossey (Steven), Emma, Ian, Eli White, Luke and Jacob Reed; and his great grandchildren, Rebekah Faye Murley, Everett Samuel and Vivi Claire Dossey. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
